For the second episode of Wildlife Wednesday I chose to feature the jumping guabine - a killifish common throughout T&T's waterways, and a species that I have worked with in the Northern Range. I explain that there are 3 situations in which this species finds it useful to jump - now I wish I'd mentioned the fourth situation: jumping out of mesocosm tanks during experiments despite all efforts to contain them!
