In these social distancing times, Trinidad & Tobago's schools and libraries are all closed. One local library has decided to try and compensate for this by bringing nuggets of information into people's homes via short videos on facebook. As part of this initiative I was invited to contribute to "Wildlife Wednesdays" by recording short clips on different species of local freshwater fish. Episode one is (of course!) on the Trinidadian Guppy and can be viewed here The launch of the initiative was also reported in the local news. Many thanks to Chaguanas Public Library for the opportunity to share my enthusiasm for guppies! |
