Birds & chocolate: Learn while colouring!
Want to learn more about some of the birds that live in cacao agroforests in Trinidad? Why not download, print and colour-in these fact sheets?
Created by Haley Arnold, they are designed to accompany our paper on the bird and tree diversity of the Northern Range forests. We discovered that although old primary forests are really important for biodiversity, active and recently abandoned cocoa estates supported a surprising number of bird species. This means that by eating forest-grown chocolate, we can support both livelihoods and biodiversity! You can find out more here, here and here and on the fact sheets themselves. Please do get in touch via email to share your finished pictures with us!.
